A few old timer photos from the winter Paris. It's been a while since my visit, but I still remember it well. I've seen so much in a short time. It was time, when I was trying to get the maximum. I must be getting older now, but I love to see less and soak the atmosphere of the place more. (published memoir - 09)
Paris is fantastic place, full of history atmosphere, happenings. On the other hand, it's also very expensive, especially in the center, around the river and main attractions. It can be pretty snobbish and unfriendly too. My favorite places were absolutely around the Sacre Coeur, Monmartre, Moulin Rouge, where the normal people live, mixed with artists, some tourist attractions, little local cafe's, boulangeries .....
